CAT IN A HAT

DISLIKES LIGHT IN HER EYES?

cat-in-hat-1-420.jpg

Our cat loves to cover her eyes while sleeping. If your hand is on the couch, palm up, she'll buried her head in your palm. A pillow works just as well as does the groove between the cushions on the couch or a blanket on the bed.

HER INNER CLOCK WORKS WELL.

We don't let her on the bed at night, she's too much of a bed hog, and in the mornings we don't allow her to come up until 7:00. She has a good inner clock and shows up somewhere between 6:59 and 7:01. Usually, I know it's exactly 7:00 because I feel her jump up on the bed, meow her good morning and start purring.

PAWS OVER EYES WORK TOO.

If a palm or hat isn't available, a paw will suffice.

CATS SLEEP 16 HOURS A DAY.

and, when they wake up they think it's a new day which means they should be able to eat, which means they'll want to go lie down and sleep off their meal.

SOME SLEEPING CAN BE DONE WITHOUT EYE SHADES.

What's a cat to do? If it's been a particularly tough day of hunting mice, you have to take what you can get.
